Since the tragic demise of my first love, My chemical Romance, I was transported back to a time when I thought black fringes and screamo were like the coolest thing in the world and how only up until I was about 15 I treated any music remotely near dance, rap or the charts as if it had leprocy. But then I met Crystal Castles and it was all downhill from there and all I can say is I'm glad I didn't grow up to be one of those pretentious tortured hoodie wearing pete doherty wannabes (I don't mean it I love you Pete xxxx).

 

1. I love 60s and 70s europop I'm sorry!

2. Saa Mellow. I might get shot but I find this like a mixture of Frank Ocean and Justin Timberlake. Its got Frank's Mellow mango tree beats and Justin's vocal range and rushy words but some times it sounds a bit like Drake. Yeh, so You can't go wrong.

3. The most annoying thing about Justin Bieber is that his music is actually good.

7. Beautiful Mad Men era ditty you'll want to slow dance with Don Draper in his office to before you 'make love' on his desk 

8. The Juxtoposition between Lana's teasing innocence and Rocky's sex voice accompanied by the sound of one of those stationary kiddy pay rides is perfection.

9. Anyone who sings so passionately about clothes and shopping deserves to be on here

10. My dad's hero. He used to play this all the time as a kid but its only once I've grown older that I've really noticed how beautiful this song is. Nobody knows who wrote it, but it could have been any one of us.

This Year Agent provocateur combined two of my favorite things: their lingerie and Jack Kerouak's story of existentialist road trips across 50s America. The brand, inspired by iconic images of Prom Queens and road movie heroines, invites on an adventure of nostalgia and freedom. Where there are no responsibilities and no rules, only the purity of the open road and all that it brings.
